10 Years of Buffering: Homecoming Weekend
It has somehow been TEN YEARS since Buffering the Vampire Slayer began, and to mark the occasion your hosts Jenny Owen Youngs and Kristin Russo will be hosting our first-ever Homecoming Weekend in Brooklyn, NY!
We will kick things off on Friday night, October 16th, with a live recording of Buffy’s “Homecoming”!
Then, on Saturday October 17th you are encouraged to bring your spatulas for an epic Homecoming Dance!! The dance will feature all of your favorite 90s tunes plus live music from Jenny Owen Youngs. Think Buffy Prom but with more green and red satin dresses...
Will there be special guests? YES
Will there be mylar balloons that spell out 5x5? OF COURSE
Will we take Class of 99 photos? INDEED

In their Virtual Book Release event, Kristin & Jenny will be broadcasting live from their studios in New York and Maine (featuring possible guest appearances from wives, pets, and babies), answering all your questions, and talking about the process of writing SLAYERS.
The virtual event will also include recorded footage from their conversation with Joanna Robinson in Torrance, CA!
